Serving Hancock and McDonough county school ROE #26: operates as a liaison to the Illinois State Board of Education; monitors the educational standards of County schools and agencies; distributes federal and state funds to County schools and agencies; oversees County truancy activities; inspects county school properties for life safety compliance; provides GED testing and services; operations the Regional Safe Schools Program as well as the Alternative High Schools through the Truants?
